Named after Gladys Aylward, a 20th century missionary, who rescued over 100 orphans from the Japanese invasion of china by walking 125 miles through the mountains to safety. The Aylward is made of beautiful quarter-sawn white oak with walnut accents. The dark chocolatey brown of the walnut perfectly complements the warm honey brown of the white oak creating a pleasing and inviting contrast. The cross* on top is removable and intended to be cherished as a keepsake for years to come. The Aylward is available next day.
